Apart from getting a couple of the facts totally wrong it is worth a read.
I did like the comment about what residents do.
The residents of Castle Village on the outskirts of Berkhamsted, Herts, are typical of the new breed of "active" retired people - in fact some are so active that they still hold down jobs. Others spend their days nurturing their collections of pot plants, painting water colours, playing tennis or darts or even jogging around an adjoining meadow.This conjures up a fascinating and frightening picture of life in Castle Village. I am sure there must be more to life than work – painting water colours and jogging. Dick Stroud
