This has nothing directly to do with the 50-plus but lots to do with viral marketing.
Kontraband has launched a global viral seeding agency called The Seventh Chamber to help marketers generate buzz about their brands.
The Seventh Chamber will enable clients to distribute their viral message through entertainment website Kontraband.com and its partner network, which includes more than 100 entertainment, lifestyle and social networking sites across Europe, North America, South Africa and Asia.
Methinks, that sounds interesting, then I read the next sentence. “The seeding agency will employ full time bloggers and forum participants to generate buzz for viral campaigns.”
Full-time bloggers – what is happening to the world? I can just imagine the conversation - "so what do you want to do little Johnny when you grow-up" Little Johnny replies: "well I thought about being a doctor then decided to become a Blogger and forum participant".
I then thought that I was sounding like the original generation of Internet devotees who were aghast when it became used for commercial purposes with dreadful things like web sites. Just progress I guess? Dick Stroud (not a professional blogger)
