When the BBC wanted to make a programme about the effects of aging it came up with the format of a comedy TV series called Grumpy Old Men and Grumpy Old Women. Stereotypes abounded. It was your worse nightmare of getting old and then a bit more.
The US comes up with BOOMERS! This looks to be a positive upbeat forward looking programme. Not a hint of cynicism.
