Amazing technology - can see the applications for older consumers



Many thanks to Chuck Nyren for telling me about this development.  

I am always interested in technologies that might be useful for older consumers, especially when they can assist with the physiological effects of ageing.

Just have a look at this video. This is the company's YouTube Channel. 

The product is light in weight, the ability to bend provides a whole new range of simple controls, the product could easily be incorporated into other products. OK, it might be a few years away from being commercialised but you get a feel for what the future could look like. 

If you link this with the developments on 'touchy' touch screens and gesture controls you can see that the device of the future is going to be a long way away from the tablet and laptop we have at the moment. Really exciting stuff. Dick Stroud
